The Blue Lady (2012) is a series of self-portraits on hand-made paper.
The artist draws inspiration from a variety of sources, merging elements of figuration with techniques of abstraction.
Making radical use of reduction and distortion, she is interested in the expressive potential of the figure rather than in the depiction of literal likeness.
The works were exhibited at BAR Gallery, London, UK, and at Galleria Bruno, Marburg, Germany.
